Dr. Douglas D. Lee
Optometrist
Dr. Lee is an almost lifelong resident of Clark County, having moved to Boulder City in 1966. He graduated from Boulder City High School in 1979. While in high school he was involved in many extracurricular activities, earning 10 sports letters (cross country, football, basketball, and golf). He was named all-state in both football and golf. He was involved in student government, including being Senior Class President, and was sports editor of the school's yearbook. He also earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
He attended Southern Utah University on a leadership, academic and golf scholarship. While at SUU, he competed on the golf team and was twice named to the first-team All Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. He graduated in 1983 with a degree in Zoology.
Dr. Lee attended optometry school at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, graduation with his doctorate in 1987. While at Pacific he earned the outstanding contact lens clinician award from Bausch and Lomb and the Brock award for his thesis.
Since graduation, he has been in private practice in the Las Vegas area. Currently he has offices in Boulder City and Laughlin. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Nevada and Southern Nevada Optometric Associations, and the contact lens section of the American Optometric Association.
Outside of optometry, Dr. Lee has been involved in civic organizations including: Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce (Boulder City and Laughlin) and the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys coaching little league teams and is an avid golfer. He is married to Robin Lee, who teaches second grade in Boulder City. They have three children: Morgan, Gregory, and Zachary.
Dr. Tony J. Jensen
Optometrist
Dr. Jensen was born and raised in Boulder City. He graduated from Boulder City High School in 1995. Following highschool, he received an academic scholarship to attend Southern Utah University. He Graduated from SUU with honors and a degree in Zoology in 2001. He then attended Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California where he was the recipient of various awards and graduated with honors in 2006.
Dr. Jensen and his wife, Christine, have four children, Marshall, Kason, Brigham and Sylvie. He is fluent in Spanish and conducts eye examinations in both English and Spanish.
