David B. Cohen, M.D.

Founder and medical Director of The Zion Eye Institute and partner with ClearVision Eye Centers. After graduating with honors from Brigham Young University and The University of Utah Medical School, Dr. Cohen completed a residency in Ophthalmology at The University of California Los Angeles Jules Stein Eye Institute. Thereafter, he founded and headed the first ophthalmology services at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During this time he completed fellowship training in refractive surgery and was also appointed the refractive surgeon at the Shearing Eye Institute in Las Vegas. As a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Cohen treats a variety of problems ranging from glaucoma and corneal disease to pediatric eye disorders. However, his main emphasis is cataract surgery and LASIK. He has performed literally thousands of these procedures and is actively involved in teaching these techniques to other ophthalmologists.
